$18 back on every lot of gold, in MyWallet the day after you trade.
ForexFanClub holds VIP, XM’s top partner level, so XM pays us its top rate on every lot you trade. We hand 90% of that straight back to you — into your XM MyWallet, with nothing to apply for. Here is what that comes to.
Standard account
Gold (GOLD)$18.00
EUR/USD$8.10
Bitcoin (BTCUSD)$13.50
Ultra Low account
Gold (GOLD)$9.00
EUR/USD$3.15
Bitcoin (BTCUSD)$4.73
Every instrument has its own amount, and the account you trade on sets which column applies. Standard pays more per lot; Ultra Low pays less but starts from a tighter spread.
Compare the two on what a trade costs you, not on the rebate alone. Switch accounts in the table below to see the amount on yours.
What a Trade Costs Once the Rebate Is Back
Pick your account and trade size, and the panel below shows the spread, the cashback and what you are left paying.
- AccountsTap an account to see what a trade costs there.
- LotsSet your trade size and every amount follows.
- Net costSpread and commission, minus your rebate.
- SearchFind one instrument by symbol or by name, such as GOLD.
A bigger cashback does not always mean a cheaper trade, and this is where the two meet. The spreads are the same 24-hour averages as on our XM spread page, so the net cost moves with the market.
Standard and Ultra Low both trade commission-free on forex, metals, indices and crypto, so the spread is what you pay and the rebate comes straight off it.
Your Rebate Lands in MyWallet the Day After You Trade
XM totals the rebate once a day and moves it across by itself, with nothing to claim and no form to file.
- Trade as usual on the account you opened through ForexFanClub. Every closed order is recorded against it.
- XM totals the partner commission once a day, for the orders closed the day before.
- XM passes it on to you under the setting we hold on our side: 90%, released automatically, with no approval step and no minimum to reach first.
- The rebate arrives in MyWallet in your XM Members Area, listed trade by trade with the date, instrument, lot size and amount.
MyWallet is a separate wallet from your trading accounts, so a rebate never lands as a deposit and never triggers a bonus on its own.
Moving money out of it into a trading account is instant, and the minimum transfer is $20 — worth knowing if you trade in small sizes, because the balance has to reach that before you can move it.
The transfer into a trading account counts as a deposit on XM’s side. Send it to a Standard account and it can draw a deposit bonus — useful if you want the extra margin, worth avoiding if you are about to withdraw.
To take the money out, move it to a trading account first and then withdraw from there; our withdrawal guide has the methods and the fees. Counting the transfer, the earliest a rebate reaches your bank is about three days after the trade.
Link the account to ForexFanClub and the same payments are listed in your member area too, broker by broker and day by day, so you can check the whole history in one place.
Why the Rate Is This High
The rebate is a share of what XM pays ForexFanClub, and that payment depends on the partner level.
XM sorts its partners into five levels — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP — and raises the commission at each one. ForexFanClub sits at the top, and 90% of what we are paid reaches you.
| Partner level | XM pays, up to | You get back |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $20 a lot | $18 a lot |
| Silver | $40 a lot | $36 a lot |
| Gold | $60 a lot | $54 a lot |
| Platinum | $80 a lot | $72 a lot |
| VIP (ForexFanClub) | $90 a lot | $81 a lot |
The ceiling is real: silver and GBP/SGD are the instruments that pay it, and $81 a lot is what comes back to you on them. Most instruments sit lower — gold pays $20 a lot at VIP, of which $18 reaches you.
The table at the top of this page has the amount for your own instrument. Levels are reviewed on trading volume and XM can change the schedule at any time, so these are the rates in force today.
How to Open Your XM Rebate Account
At XM the rebate is attached to the account rather than to you. Good news if you already trade there: everything you hold now stays exactly as it is.
Each XM trading account keeps the link to whoever referred it, for the life of the account.
So a new account opened through ForexFanClub earns the rebate from its first closed trade, and any account you already hold carries on exactly as it is.
Two accounts are open to new clients and the rebate works on both. A third, the Shares account, is for buying real shares and asks for $10,000 to start.
| Account | Minimum deposit | Commission |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $5 | None |
| Ultra Low | $5 | None |
| Shares | $10,000 | Yes |
Standard is the one that takes XM’s deposit bonus. Ultra Low trades swap-free on a range of instruments and starts from a tighter spread instead.
Both allow a Micro option, both run to 1000:1 leverage, and both include negative balance protection and hedging. XM sets the three out side by side (opens in a new tab).
Pick the account on what a trade costs you, not on the rebate alone. A larger rebate means a wider spread to begin with, and the panel above puts both sides on one line.
First time with XM
Register through the button below and the account earns the rebate from its first closed order. Your trading conditions are the ones XM publishes: we add nothing to the spread and nothing to execution.
Already have an XM account
Open an additional account under ForexFanClub and trade on that one. Your existing account keeps its own link, your funds move across with an internal transfer inside XM, and nothing you hold now is affected.
- Sign in to the XM Members Area and choose to open an additional account.
- On the Customize Your Trading Account screen, set the leverage, currency and account name you want.
- In Partner Code (Optional), enter GJQYM. The code is what links the new account to our rebate programme.
- Fund it, and the rebate starts from the first closed trade.
The code matters. Opening the account through our link is usually enough on its own, but the referral can be lost if you have blocked cookies, cleared them, or switched browser between the link and the form.
Typing GJQYM into that box settles it either way. It costs nothing and takes a second.
Then link the account to ForexFanClub
Your cashback is paid by XM either way. Linking the account is what puts every payment in one place and opens the member rewards.
- Register at the ForexFanClub member area with your email.
- Open Dashboard, choose XM and enter the account number you just opened.
- Approval usually takes up to one business day. Your rebate history then appears under Auto Rebate History, with the same view for any other broker you add.
Only accounts opened through a ForexFanClub link can be added, so link the account straight after you open it.
Members also collect USDT from a daily login and from the quest board, and linking your first account is one of the quests. Amounts and conditions change, so check the current ones in the member area.
What Decides What You Get Back
Nearly every closed order pays. A handful of rules on XM’s side decide the rest — and they are worth knowing before you change how you trade.
Earns the rebate
- Every instrument in the table at the top of this page, shares included
- Standard and Ultra Low accounts opened through ForexFanClub
- Positions held longer than three minutes
- Expert Advisors, scalping included
Sits outside the rebate
- Trades opened and closed within three minutes
- Positions closed with Close by or Multiple close by
- Trading before you have made a deposit
How each rule works
- Three minutes
- Hold a position for longer than three minutes and it earns in full, measured from the moment it opens to the moment it closes. Swing and intraday trades clear that comfortably. Three minutes is the longest such rule among the brokers we cover — HFM asks for two minutes, XS for thirty seconds — so it is the number to know if you trade in and out quickly.
- Closing a hedge
- Close a buy and a sell separately and both are ordinary closed trades, so both earn. Using Close by or Multiple close by nets the two positions against each other, and XM does not count those.
- EAs are welcome
- Automated trading and scalping strategies are allowed and earn the rebate in the normal way. What XM does not pay for is churning — orders placed for no reason other than to generate commission.
- Deposit first
- The rebate switches on as soon as the account holds your own money, and XM’s $5 minimum is all it takes. A no-deposit bonus on its own does not start it, so make that first deposit and every trade from then on counts.
- Trading on bonus margin
- If a deposit bonus is covering part of the margin a position needs, the rebate on that trade is reduced by the same proportion. Trade within what your own funds can margin and the rebate is paid in full — the bonus is still there behind it.
All five rules are XM’s own, set out in Appendix 1 of its introducer agreement on the legal documents page (opens in a new tab). ForexFanClub adds none of its own, and there is no cap on how much you can earn.
The Rebate, the Bonus and XM Coins
Three different things arrive from XM, and they are easy to mix up. Here is what each one is and how they sit together.
What each one gives you
- Rebate (this page)
- Cash back on trades you have already made, paid into MyWallet the next day. The money is yours to withdraw, and both Standard and Ultra Low earn it.
- Deposit bonus
- Credit that adds margin so you can hold a larger or longer position. The credit stays as margin rather than cash you can withdraw, and it is offered on Standard accounts only, with the rate and availability set by region. XM explains it here (opens in a new tab).
- XM Coins (XMC)
- XM’s own loyalty points, earned per trade and exchangeable for cash, bonuses or rewards through XM Traders Club (opens in a new tab). Separate from the rebate and unaffected by it.
You can hold all three at once. The one place they touch is margin: while a deposit bonus is covering part of what a position needs, the rebate on that trade is trimmed by the same proportion.
A trade your own funds could margin on their own pays in full. Our bonus guide has the current offers, and the XMC calculator works out what your trades are worth in coins.
XM Rebate FAQ
The questions readers ask most often about how the XM rebate is worked out and paid.
- How much is the XM rebate?
-
The amount depends on the instrument and the account. Gold pays $18.00 a lot on Standard and $9.00 on Ultra Low; EUR/USD pays $8.10 and $3.15.
Every instrument has its own amount, and the table at the top of this page has the figure for yours.
- I already have an XM account. Can I still get the rebate?
-
Yes. XM links the rebate to each trading account rather than to you, so open an additional account under ForexFanClub and trade on that one.
Enter GJQYM in the Partner Code box on the account-opening screen, move your funds across with an internal transfer, and the account you already hold carries on unchanged.
- When is the XM rebate credited?
-
The day after you trade. XM totals the partner commission once a day for the previous day’s closed orders and passes our share straight on to you, because the setting we hold is daily and automatic.
The money arrives in MyWallet rather than in your trading account.
- Are there conditions I have to meet?
-
A few, all of them XM’s. A trade has to stay open longer than three minutes, positions closed with Close by are not counted, and the account has to have been funded.
Automated trading and scalping are fine, and there is no cap on what you can earn.
- Do XM shares earn a rebate?
-
Yes. Unlike some brokers, XM pays on share CFDs as well as forex, metals, indices and crypto.
The amounts are small — cents per lot on most shares — but they are in the table, and you can search for a company by name.
- Do I need a ForexFanClub account to get the rebate?
-
Your rebate reaches MyWallet either way, so registering is optional.
What it adds is one screen with the rebate history for every broker you use, plus the member rewards: a daily login bonus in USDT and a quest board. Add the account in the member area soon after you open it, since only accounts opened through a ForexFanClub link can be linked.
- Do I pay tax on the rebate?
-
In most countries a rebate counts as income and may be taxable. The rules differ by country and change, so check your own position with a qualified tax adviser.
The Rest of the XM Numbers
Cashback is one side of what a trade costs. These pages cover the others, each with the same kind of panel as above.
Once the XM account is open, link it to Forex FanClub. The member area lists every rebate payment day by day, across every broker you use. Registration is free and takes an email address.
