Which XM Bonus Can You Get in Your Country?

Every country we checked offers a deposit bonus, but only the UAE still offers a bonus without a deposit. In the UAE, you receive 50 USD to trade with before you deposit any of your own money.

The 30 USD bonus that many traders search for ended in Thailand on 5 October 2026, and Malaysia no longer showed its 50 USD bonus when we checked. So for most traders, the deposit bonus is the offer that matters.

In a 100% country, a 100 USD deposit gives you 200 USD to trade with. XM changes these offers about once a month, so open the XM promotions page (opens in a new tab) before you deposit.

The list below shows what XM’s promotions pages showed on 10 October 2026 and 1 November 2026.

  • The UAE
50 USD without a deposit. Deposit bonus of 100% up to 200 USD, then 50% and 20%.
  • India and Brazil
Deposit bonus of 100% up to 100 USD, then 50% and 20%.
  • Malaysia and Thailand
Deposit bonus of 100% up to 200 USD for a limited time, then monthly bonuses.
  • South Africa, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Ghana
Deposit bonus of 100% up to 100 USD for a limited time, then monthly bonuses.
  • Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Iraq and Bangladesh
Deposit bonus of 50% up to 100 USD for a limited time, then monthly bonuses.

Is your country not in the list? Open the XM promotions page (opens in a new tab). It shows the offer for the country you are in.

What Can You Do with the XM Bonus?

  • Small deposit
With the bonus, a small deposit can hold a trade that would otherwise need twice the money. For example, in a 100% country, a 50 USD deposit gives you 100 USD to trade with.
  • Adding to a trade
Because of the extra margin, you can add to a position in small steps at the prices you planned. Without the bonus, the first trade may use most of your margin.
  • Bigger price moves
The bonus adds margin, so the same deposit can keep a trade open through a bigger price move. The bonus goes to Standard and Micro trading accounts.

The table below shows how far the gold price can move against 0.1 lot of gold on a 100 USD deposit before the deposit is used up.

Our view

The biggest advantage of the XM bonus is that it can take part of your loss, and you never have to refund it.

A loss comes out of your own money first. After your own money is used up, the bonus takes the next part of the loss.

Each deposit also gets the bonus until the limit is reached. For example, in South Africa, five deposits of 20 USD each get a 20 USD bonus each, 100 USD in total. So you can deposit small amounts and still receive the full bonus.

However, if the bonus covers part of the margin of a trade, you receive a smaller rebate and fewer XM Coins on that trade.

How Much Bonus Do You Get for Your Deposit?

It depends on the kind of offer in your country. Most countries we checked now have a limited-time offer. You get a first bonus of up to 100 or 200 USD, and then more bonuses every month. Only India, Brazil and the UAE still have three levels.

Limited-time offer

The first bonus depends on your country. Your deposits get the bonus until it reaches the limit for your country.

  • 100% up to 200 USD
Malaysia and Thailand get 100%. For example, a 200 USD deposit gets a 200 USD bonus.
  • 100% up to 100 USD
South Africa, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Ghana get 100%. For example, a 100 USD deposit gets a 100 USD bonus.
  • 50% up to 100 USD
Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Iraq and Bangladesh get 50%. For example, a 200 USD deposit gets a 100 USD bonus.

After the first bonus, XM offers more deposit bonuses of up to 5,000 USD every month, but XM does not show the percentage on its page.

For Thailand, XM told us that your next deposits get 20%, until these bonuses reach 5,000 USD in the month. After you register, the Bonuses screen shows the percentage for your country.

Three bonus levels

India, Brazil and the UAE have three levels. Each deposit gets the percentage of your current level until the bonus of that level is full. Then your next deposits move to the next level.

The table below shows the levels in India and Brazil.

Deposit bonusYou deposit
Level 1100%, up to 100 USDThe first 100 USD
Level 250%, up to 500 USDThe next 1,000 USD
Level 320%, up to 5,000 USDThe next 25,000 USD
All three levelsUp to 5,600 USD26,100 USD in total

In the UAE, the first level is 100% up to 200 USD. So the bonus can reach 5,700 USD in total.

For example, if you deposit 300 USD in total in India or Brazil, you receive 100 USD at 100% and 100 USD at 50%. Your bonus is 200 USD, so you trade with 500 USD.

The Bonuses screen in the Members Area shows your levels and how much bonus you have received. The label on the screen shows how a deposit moves through the levels.

  • Consecutive Deposits
One deposit can fill a level and continue into the next level.
  • Next deposit only
The bonus applies to your next deposit only.

How Do You Claim the XM Bonus?

You do not need to apply. XM adds the bonus when you deposit into a Standard or Micro trading account.

Choose a Standard or Micro trading account. Ultra Low and Shares accounts do not get the bonus. The XM additional account guide shows how to add a trading account.

Tap Deposit on that trading account. Money that you move with an internal transfer does not get the bonus.

On Home in the XM Members Area (opens in a new tab), tap Bonuses. The screen shows your levels and how much bonus you have received.

Tap Manage on the trading account. The bonus appears in the Credit line.

XM Manage screen of a Standard trading account with the Credit line framed in red

If your country offers the bonus without a deposit, look for it under NDB on the Bonuses screen after you register.

What Happens to the Bonus When You Withdraw?

A withdrawal or a transfer to Ultra Low removes part of the bonus.

  • Withdrawals
If you withdraw 20% of your balance, 20% of the bonus is also removed. If you cancel the withdrawal, or if the withdrawal is not completed for another reason, the bonus is returned.
  • Profit
You can withdraw the profit that you make with the bonus, but not the bonus itself.
  • Losses
A loss reduces your own money (the balance) first. After that, the bonus takes the loss. If you lose the bonus this way, you do not have to refund it.
  • Transfer to Standard or Micro
The bonus moves with your money. If you move 20% of your balance, 20% of the bonus moves with it.
  • Transfer to Ultra Low
Ultra Low and Shares accounts do not keep the bonus. If you move 20% of your balance, 20% of the bonus is removed. The XM internal transfer guide shows the steps.
  • No activity for 90 days
After 90 days without activity, XM treats the trading account as dormant and removes the bonus. One small trade before day 90 keeps the trading account active and keeps the bonus, as the XM inactivity fee guide shows.

Does the Bonus Change Your Rebate and XM Coins?

Yes. Both are paid only on the part of the margin that your own money covers. For example, if the bonus covers half of the margin of a trade, you receive half of the rebate and half of the XM Coins on that trade.

The XM rebate guide explains the rebate, and the XM Traders Club guide explains XM Coins.

Our comparison of forex deposit bonuses shows whether the bonus is worth more than a lower trading cost, and how the XM bonus compares with the HFM bonus.

What Other Promotions Does XM Run?

  • XM Traders Club
You earn XM Coins (XMC) on your trades and exchange them for a trading bonus. The XM Traders Club guide shows how much you earn.
  • Competitions
XM runs a demo competition every week with 100 winners, and you can enter twice for free. The XM demo competition guide shows which competition to enter.
  • Monthly campaigns
In some countries, XM also runs a campaign for about a month, such as cashback on your trading volume. Check the XM promotions page (opens in a new tab) for the campaigns in your country.
  • Refer a Friend
In most countries, XM pays you $80 for each friend you invite who is new to XM and trades 3 lots within 90 days. The XM Refer a Friend guide shows the conditions for your friend and how the reward differs from a rebate.

Questions People Ask About the XM Bonus

Is the XM 30 USD bonus still available?

No, not in the countries we checked. XM ended the 30 USD bonus in Thailand on 5 October 2026.

On 10 October 2026 and again on 1 November 2026, only the UAE (50 USD) offered a bonus without a deposit. Check the XM promotions page (opens in a new tab) for your country.

What is the most bonus you can get from XM?

Up to 5,700 USD in the UAE. In India and Brazil, it is up to 5,600 USD. To fill all three levels, you deposit 26,200 USD or 26,100 USD in total.

In the other countries we checked, XM offers up to 5,000 USD in deposit bonuses every month.

Can I withdraw the XM bonus?

No. You can withdraw the profit that you make with the bonus. If you withdraw 20% of your balance, 20% of the bonus is also removed.

What do I need to do before I can withdraw profit from the no-deposit bonus?

XM told us three conditions.

Make a profit of at least 5 USD. Complete at least 5 trades, each opened and closed. Trade at least 0.1 lot in total, or 10 lots on a Micro account.

Why is the bonus in my Members Area different from the promotions page?

Your Members Area shows the levels for your own profile. Today’s offer for new clients can be different. You receive the bonus that your Members Area shows.

Can I get the bonus on a second trading account?

Yes. Deposit directly into the second trading account. Money that you move with an internal transfer does not get the bonus.

Does the Ultra Low account get the bonus?

No. The bonus goes to Standard and Micro trading accounts. The XM account types guide compares the accounts.

How do I stop receiving the bonus?

Send an email to nobonus@xmglobal.com. To remove the bonus that you already have, move your money to an Ultra Low trading account. The bonus is then removed.

How long does the XM bonus last?

The bonus stays while you trade. After 90 days without activity, XM treats the trading account as dormant and removes the bonus.
