On MT5, the rebate on gold, Bitcoin and the seven major currency pairs is 44% of the spread on a Standard trading account, so it moves with the market. On a Cent trading account, 1 lot is 1/100 of the size, so the rebate per lot is also 1/100.

Each instrument has its own amount. Choose your platform, the trading account and your lot size in the table below to see the rebate on your instrument.

Where the figures come from, and how we work them out:

Data sources and how the figures are worked out +−

Where the rebate figures come from

XS sets a partner commission for each instrument and account, and the amount depends on the partner rank. ForexFanClub is on Titan, XS’s top rank, so XS pays its highest rate on every lot you trade. You keep 80% of what XS pays, and that 80% is the Rebate line in the panel. The money reaches your XS cashback wallet, usually within the hour.

Each account type has its own rate on the same instrument, so switching account changes the rebate as well as the cost. Some instruments are set in pips and some as a fixed amount per lot. A few indices and metals are set in euros, pounds, yen or Australian dollars, and the panel converts those to US dollars at that account’s own rate.

How the net cost is worked out

Total cost is the 24-hour average spread in US dollars plus the round-turn commission for the account you pick. Net cost is that total with your rebate taken off. Every amount follows the lot size you set.

Open a row for the breakdown: spread cost, commission, total, rebate and net cost, with the 24-hour average, lowest, highest and latest spread underneath.

Where the spread and the commission come from

We read symbol information from four live XS.com MT5 accounts in US dollars, one per account type, and save samples at regular intervals. MT5 lists the server company as XS Fintech Ltd, the XS Group’s technology arm. Each spread becomes a dollar amount through the value of one price step on that instrument. The same 24-hour averages appear on our XS spread page.

Spreads are shown in points (pts) for indices, crypto and stocks, and in pips for the other instruments. For gold (XAUUSD), 1 pip is $0.10 per troy ounce on 100 ounces per lot, counted the same way in our spread tools for other brokers, so you can compare brokers directly.

Outside an instrument’s regular trading hours, the row reads Market closed · showing figures from before the close, with an Earlier average spread. Earlier figures also appear when a recent price is missing during trading hours.

When a line reads Unconfirmed

A cost appears once the spread converts to US dollars and the commission is confirmed. While either one is pending, that line reads Unconfirmed in place of a figure that could mislead you. Open the row to see which part is pending.

The rebate reads Unconfirmed when XS lists no rate for that instrument on that account. Tell us which instrument you trade and we will check the rate with XS. Shares and futures earn no rebate, so the panel shows None and the net cost equals the total cost.

What the figures cover

These figures cover the spread, the round-turn commission and the rebate for one round-turn trade. Swap on a position held overnight is separate, and the XS swap calculator has it. All times are UTC, and Data received at the top of the panel shows when the latest data arrived.

XS Titan-tier commission table checked on 23 September 2026 (UTC). This date is separate from the tool’s data update times.

Before the rebate, the Standard account costs more on gold than Pro and Elite, because its spread is wider. But on MT5, Standard returns 44% of the gold spread, and Pro and Elite return a small set amount. So after the rebate, Standard is the cheapest of the four.

1 lot of gold on MT5

Before the rebateAfter the rebate
XS Standard account$18.89$10.58
XS Elite account$14.79$11.99
XS Pro account$14.80$12.00
XS Extra account$35.96$20.14

Extra pays the largest rebate per lot, and it is still the most expensive account, because its spread is the widest. A larger rebate does not mean a cheaper trade, so compare the trading cost after the rebate, not the size of the rebate.

Our view

If you trade mostly currency pairs, a trade on Pro or Elite costs less after the rebate. The panel shows the amounts for EUR/USD.

Both accounts need a $500 minimum deposit, while Standard needs none. The deposit stays in your trading account as money that you trade with.

Why Is the XS Rebate This High?

ForexFanClub is at Titan, XS’s top partner rank, and passes on 80% of what XS pays.

XS grades its partners by rank and pays more per lot at each step up. The 80% share is the same on every account and every instrument. The rebate differs between accounts because XS pays a different amount for each account.

1 lot of gold on MT4

XS pays ForexFanClubYour rebate
XS Pro account$3.50$2.80
XS Elite account$3.50$2.80
XS Standard account$9.00$7.20
XS Classic account$12.50$10.00
XS Extra account$15.00$12.00

On MT5, the 44% comes from the same 80% share of XS’s percentage rate. At the current gold spread, Standard on MT5 pays about $8.31 a lot, more than the $7.20 set amount on MT4. If the gold spread narrows, the MT5 rebate falls with it.

How Do You Get the XS Rebate?

Every XS trading account that you open through ForexFanClub earns the rebate, from the first trade that you close.

XS’s rebate table covers six account types: Standard, Cent, Classic, Extra, Pro and Elite. Opening one costs nothing, and XS describes each type on its account types page (opens in a new tab).

XS also offers Micro, VIP and copy trading accounts, but they are not in the rebate table, so open one of the six to get the rebate.

If you are new to XS.com

The link in the button is what tells XS that ForexFanClub is your partner, so start from the button and not from the XS website.

  1. Create an XS profile through the button below.
  2. Choose your platform, then your account type. MT5 has all six types, and MT4 has all of them except Cent.
  3. Confirm your email address. Your first trading account then earns the rebate from the first trade that you close.
Open an XS Rebate Account

If you already trade with XS

If ForexFanClub is already the partner of your XS profile, use the email of that profile to log in to XS (opens in a new tab). Then open an additional trading account there. The new trading account earns the rebate from the first trade that you close.

ForexFanClub is already your partner if you registered through a ForexFanClub link or button.

If your XS profile has another partner, or you are not sure, open a new XS profile through the button below. Use an email address that is different from your current XS login, because XS keeps each profile with the partner that it was opened under.

You submit your ID documents again for the new profile. Your old trading accounts stay as they are.

Open an XS Rebate Account

Then add the trading account to ForexFanClub

XS pays the rebate whether you add the trading account to ForexFanClub or not. On ForexFanClub, you see every payment in one place and get the member rewards.

  1. Register with your email address at the ForexFanClub member area (opens in a new tab).
  2. Open Dashboard, choose XS and enter the number of the trading account that you have just opened.
  3. Approval usually takes up to one business day. Your rebate history then appears under Auto Rebate History.

Only trading accounts opened through a ForexFanClub link can be added, so add the new trading account straight after you open it.

When Is the XS Rebate Paid?

XS pays the rebate into your XS cashback wallet about an hour after you close the trade, with nothing to claim.

XS opens the cashback wallet when it pays your first rebate. It converts each rebate into the wallet currency at its own rate, so a rebate can be a few cents more or less than the amount in the rebate table.

The hour makes a real difference. At HFM, for example, the rebate arrives the next day. At XS, you can see the payment for a trade about an hour after you close it, so if a payment is missing, you notice it the same day.

From the cashback wallet, you can move the money to a trading account or withdraw it through XS’s normal withdrawal process.

Which XS Trades Earn the Rebate?

Nearly every closed trade earns the rebate. XS sets three rules for the rest.

Earns the full rebate

  • Every trading instrument in the rebate table
  • Currencies, metals, energy, indices and crypto
  • Any of the six account types, opened through ForexFanClub
  • A buy and a sell on the same instrument, scalping and trades placed by an EA
  • Positions held for weeks

Earns no rebate

  • Individual shares and futures
  • Welcome Bonus accounts
  • Trades that use bonus money
  • Trades closed before the minimum time
  • Time open
A trade must stay open for at least one minute on an Extra account, and 30 seconds on the other accounts. Scalping still earns the rebate, as long as the trade passes that time.
  • Closing
A trade that you close in one go earns the rebate on its full size, whether you close it yourself or at a take-profit or stop-loss. XS may count a trade closed in parts differently, so close in one go when you can.
  • Bonus money
The rebate comes from trades with your own money. A Welcome Bonus account and trades that use bonus money earn no rebate.

All three are XS’s own rules, and ForexFanClub adds none. Your spreads, your swaps and the way XS fills your orders stay the same as for any other XS client.

A trade from an EA, or a buy and a sell on the same instrument, earns the same rebate as any other trade, but each trading instrument has its own amount. So what you trade changes the rebate far more than how you trade. To see what your own lots bring back in a month on MT4 or MT5, use our forex rebate calculator.

XS Rebate FAQ

Other questions readers ask about the XS rebate.

Is the XS rebate the same as forex cashback?

Yes. “Rebate” and “cashback” describe the same thing, part of your trading cost paid back on every trade. XS pays it automatically for as long as the trading account is open.

What if the rebate does not reach my XS cashback wallet?

First check the trade. The rebate arrives about an hour after you close, and only on trades that stay open long enough and are in the markets that earn the rebate.

If the trade meets the rules, the trading account may have no partner. This happens when the link from ForexFanClub does not reach XS, for example when your browser blocks cookies during sign-up.

In that case, contact XS support and ask them to add ForexFanClub as the partner of your trading account. XS can add it after the account is open, as long as the trading account has no other partner.

Can I join XS’s own offers as well?

Yes. XS’s own offers run alongside the rebate, for example the VIP programme, demo contests and Trading Miles (opens in a new tab). The terms of each offer change, so check them on XS’s website.

Do I pay tax on the rebate?

In most countries, a rebate counts as income and may be taxable. The rules differ by country and change, so check your own position with a qualified tax adviser.

Which XS Page Do You Need Next?

Next, read the XS spread page to see what a trade costs before the rebate.
