Exness charges no deposit, withdrawal or inactivity fee, so most traders pay only the spread, plus a commission on Raw Spread and Zero. 1 lot of gold costs about $15.02 on Raw Spread and $24.04 on Standard.
Checked on 20 October 2026
For most traders, the spread is the main cost at Exness. Part of what you pay goes to the partner who referred you, and if you open your Exness trading account through our link, most of that part comes back to you.

What Fees Does Exness Charge?
Most Exness traders pay only the spread on each trade, plus a commission on the Raw Spread and Zero accounts. The card lists every Exness fee and when you pay it.
Exness fees
SpreadPer trade
CommissionRaw Spread and Zero only
Swap on overnight trades$0 on swap-free instruments
Deposit fee$0
Withdrawal fee$0
Inactivity fee$0
Account fee$0
The swap is usually zero, because every Exness Personal Area starts as swap-free on gold, the major currency pairs, stock indices and crypto. So holding those trades for a few nights adds nothing to the spread and the commission.
The spread and the commission also include a payment that the card does not show. Part of what you pay goes to the partner who referred you to Exness, and whether any of it comes back to you depends on that partner.
Who Earns From the Spread You Pay at Exness?
If you joined Exness through a partner’s link, Exness pays that partner part of your spread and commission on every lot. At Exness’s top partner level, Brilliant, that is 40% of the Standard spread, so $9.62 of the $24.04 on a lot of gold.

This payment comes out of the spread and the commission that you already pay, so it is not an extra fee. What changes is who keeps it, and some partners pay part of it back to you as a rebate.
ForexFanClub is one of those partners. Through our link, 90% of the money that Exness pays us comes back to you as our rebate.
That is 36% of the spread on Standard, 22.5% on Pro and a fixed amount per lot on Raw Spread and Zero. On a Standard lot of gold you get $8.66 back, so 10 lots a month bring you $87 that would otherwise stay with your partner or with Exness.
Exness pays the rebate the day after you close the trade, into the trading account that you traded on. To get it, open your Exness trading account through our link.
If you already trade on Exness through another partner, you can ask Exness to change your partner.
How Much Does One Exness Trade Cost?
On Exness, opening and closing 1 lot of gold costs about $15.02 on Raw Spread and Zero, $16.83 on Pro and $24.04 on Standard. These are 24-hour averages of the spread plus the commission.
Exness adds no brokerage charge on top, so these figures are the whole cost of a trade that you close the same day. The tables show each account before and after our rebate.
1 lot of gold, opened and closed
| Spread + commission | After our rebate | |
|---|---|---|
| Standard account | $24.04 | $15.39 |
| Pro account | $16.83 | $13.04 |
| Raw Spread account | $15.02 | $12.32 |
| Zero account | $15.02 | $12.32 |
On Standard you get the largest rebate, but the spread is wider by more than the rebate gives back. So a Standard trade still costs you about $3.07 more per lot of gold than a Raw Spread trade, which is $31 a month if you trade 10 lots.
1 lot of EURUSD, opened and closed
| Spread + commission | After our rebate | |
|---|---|---|
| Standard account | $8.92 | $5.71 |
| Pro account | $6.60 | $5.12 |
| Raw Spread account | $5.46 | $4.68 |
| Zero account | $5.46 | $4.68 |
On EURUSD the gap is smaller, about $1.03 per lot. If you trade less than 1 lot, the cost falls in the same proportion, so 0.01 lot of gold on Raw Spread costs you about $0.15.
Your cost on a real trade depends on when you trade, because the spread widens around big news and when a market opens. The Exness spread tool shows today’s spread and commission for each instrument at your lot size.
For gold trades that you close the same day, we would open a Raw Spread account (opens in a new tab), because it costs about $3.07 less per lot than Standard, even after the larger rebate on Standard.
However, Raw Spread needs a larger first deposit, and Exness sets that amount by country. So for a small first deposit, Standard or Standard Cent is the account to start with.
The Exness account types guide compares the accounts side by side.
Does Exness Charge a Commission?
Exness charges a commission only on the Raw Spread and Zero accounts. Raw Spread charges up to $3.50 each side per lot, and Zero charges from $0.05 each side, with the amount set for each instrument.

On gold, you pay $7.00 in commission for 1 lot on Raw Spread and $11.00 on Zero. Zero has the smaller spread, so both accounts end at the same total.
On Standard and Pro you pay no commission, but the wider spread costs you more than the commission would. So compare the two together, as the Exness spread tool does for each instrument.
What Does It Cost to Hold an Exness Trade Overnight?
With the swap-free status, holding a gold or major-pair trade overnight on Exness usually costs nothing. Every Exness Personal Area starts with this status, and it covers all of your trading accounts.
Exness keeps the status while you trade mostly within the day, but it can remove the status if you often hold large positions overnight. You can see your status in your Personal Area, under Exness benefits and Trading conditions.
The swap-free status saves you the most on gold, because the normal swap on a gold buy is large. A gold sell position pays no swap at the moment.

Without the status, a 1-lot gold buy would pay $51.52 for one night. That is about 3.4 times the whole cost of a Raw Spread trade, and over a week it adds up to $360.66, because Exness charges three nights on Wednesday.
Other metals, energies, shares and some currency pairs have a swap on every account. The Exness swap guide shows today’s swap for each instrument, and how the swap-free rules work.
Does Exness Charge Withdrawal Fees?
No. Exness charges no fee for withdrawals or deposits, and its fees page (opens in a new tab) says that Exness pays the third-party transaction fees for you. The same page adds that third-party fees may still apply, depending on the payment method.
So your money can still arrive a little short when your bank, card company or payment service takes its own fee. Before you confirm a deposit, the form shows the amount that reaches your trading account under To be deposited.
The payment method also decides how long a withdrawal takes. A crypto withdrawal usually arrives within 15 minutes and a bank transfer can take several days, as our guide to Exness withdrawals shows for each method.
The minimum deposit is not a fee either. It goes into your trading account as money to trade with, and the Exness minimum deposit guide shows the amount for each account type.
Is There an Exness Inactivity Fee?
No. Exness charges no fee on an inactive trading account, and no fee to bring an archived one back. So money that you leave in a trading account for months is still there when you come back.
What can happen instead is an archive. A real MT4 or MT5 trading account with no trades and no balance operations for 3 days can move to the archive.
Your balance moves with it into the archive. You restore the trading account for free in your Personal Area, under My accounts and Archived accounts.
