A Deep Dive into PidPro’s Standout Features: The Intelligent Order-Closing Tool for MT4/MT5
PidPro is a free trading tool for MT4/MT5 developed by Forex FanClub, a software development company. Designed to maximise the efficiency of position management, it has been meticulously researched and developed to genuinely meet the discerning needs of active traders.
Flexible Order-Closing Target Selection
With PidPro, you can choose between two closing targets: All Charts or Current Chart. Selecting All Charts closes all open positions across MT4/MT5, while Current Chart closes only the positions on the chart where the tool is installed. This gives traders full control over the scope of their order management to suit any situation.

Manual Bulk Order Closing
PidPro lets you close multiple positions simultaneously with a single click — perfect for emergency stop-loss execution or locking in profits on pyramided positions. It’s especially valuable for scalpers who need speed, or for managing multiple positions held by an Expert Adviser (EA).

Real-Time Aggregate Profit/Loss Display in Pips
PidPro displays the total profit and loss in pips for all open positions in real time. When All Charts is selected, it shows the combined total across every chart; when Current Chart is selected, it displays the aggregate P&L for that chart alone. This gives traders instant clarity on their overall position, enabling well-timed and informed closing decisions.

4 Advanced Automatic Order-Closing Modes
PidPro goes beyond simple manual bulk closing — it also supports four automated bulk order-closing modes. These intelligent features reduce the burden on traders and bring greater precision to every trade.
Auto Close by Pips
Set your desired take-profit and stop-loss pip values, and PidPro will automatically close all positions once that threshold is reached. Step away from the screen with confidence — the system will execute your exit exactly as planned.

Auto Close by Time
This feature automatically closes all bulk positions at a pre-set time. It’s ideal for exiting before major economic announcements, ahead of market close, or when you want to hold a profitable position for as long as possible before a specific deadline.

Break-Even Auto Close
The break-even closing feature automatically closes all positions when the net profit/loss across open trades reaches zero — whether moving from profit to flat, or from loss back to flat. This saves time monitoring charts and allows you to let profits run without risk.

Trailing Close
The Trailing Close feature works just like a standard trailing stop, but applied to your entire bulk position. Simply set your trailing activation level and trail distance — then let the system lock in and extend your profits indefinitely, without needing to watch the charts.

Screenshot Function
PidPro includes a built-in screenshot feature for recording trades and chart analysis. Captured images are saved to your “MQL5 (4)” >> “Files” data folder.

Break-Even Line Display
The break-even line display draws a visual break-even level for all open positions directly on the active chart. Even on accounts that charge commissions, the system automatically learns the commission rate for each trading instrument from the last 30 days of trade history and calculates the break-even point accordingly.

Trade History Display on Chart
On MT4, PidPro can overlay your trade history directly on the chart — allowing you to visually review past performance at a glance. Both the number of trades displayed and colour settings can be freely customised in the parameters.
This feature is not available on MT5, as trade history display is already a standard built-in function of that platform.
The above covers the key features of PidPro, the automated bulk order-closing tool for MT4/MT5. Despite its extensive functionality, PidPro is written with code optimised for both platforms — so it won’t slow down your terminal. Trade with confidence.
How to Install PidPro & Configure Parameters
To make the most of PidPro’s powerful features, correct installation and proper parameter configuration are essential. This section walks you through every step — from download to first use — in enough detail for beginners to get set up without confusion.
Installing PidPro
Installing PidPro is straightforward. First, download the MT4 or MT5 version using the button below. If you’re on a smartphone, please transfer the downloaded file to your PC via Google Drive or another method.
Next, go to “File” >> “Open Data Folder” from the MT4/MT5 top menu, then open the “MQL4” >> “Experts” folder. Move the downloaded “PidPro.ex4” or “PidPro.ex5” file into the “Experts” folder.

Next, restart MT4/MT5 or refresh the Navigator, then select Expert Advisers. Click on “PidPro” as shown in the Navigator. On the startup screen, select “Allow Algo Trading” and click “OK” to launch PidPro.

Finally, go to “Tools” >> “Options” from the top menu. In the “Options” screen, under the “Expert Advisers” tab, enable automated trading and DLL usage. Then press the Algorithmic Trading button in the top toolbar. Automated trading will be active and PidPro will be ready to use.

Configuring PidPro Parameters
PidPro’s settings can be adjusted in the parameters screen. From slippage tolerance and pip values for take-profit and stop-loss, to trailing stop range, auto-close time, and display preferences — everything can be customised to match your trading style.
To open the parameters screen, right-click on the chart and select “Expert Advisers” >> “Properties” from the context menu. The parameter settings screen shown below will open.

A key item in the parameter settings is the trading commission configuration. If you are using an account that charges commissions, you can choose here whether to have the system automatically learn the commission rate from your trade history, or to set it manually. Enter “0” to learn automatically from history; to set a custom rate, enter the commission charged per 1 lot in USD.
The remaining settings are straightforward — covering default values for each auto-close mode and display preferences. On MT4, additional trade history display settings are available, where you can customise line colours and thickness to your preference.
Important Notes & Troubleshooting
A key point to be aware of when using PidPro: if a weekly or monthly chart is displayed, or when MT4/MT5 shows that data is updating, the EA will pause. When this happens, simply re-apply the EA to resume normal operation.
Additionally, if bulk order closing is unresponsive, first check your automated trading permission settings. If the issue persists, it may be caused by a conflict with another EA or indicator. In such cases, we are unable to provide support — please be aware of this limitation.
Panel Drag Handle Position in MT5
In MT5, to move the controller panel, you must click precisely on the single point at the top-left corner. Please take care with this.

Adjusting Font Size on High-Resolution Displays
If you are using a high-resolution display with scaling set to 150% or higher, please adjust the font size via the font settings in the parameters.

Fixing Issues by Removing Objects
If PidPro becomes unresponsive, remove and re-apply it to the chart. If any stray text or objects remain on the chart, right-click and select “Objects List” to delete all related objects.

If you encounter any issues or errors while using PidPro, please contact Forex FanClub. Please also note that as PidPro is designed with broad, universal usability in mind, we are unable to accept requests for specific custom features. We apologise for any inconvenience.
