The Exness app is called Exness Trade, and you download it from Google Play or the App Store. If your store does not list it, Exness Go, the official APK and the MT5 app are your options.

Checked on 7 November 2026

We installed Exness Trade on a real phone, followed each step on a demo trading account up to the last tap before an order, and looked up the app in the stores of 43 countries. This guide shows where to download the app, what to do if your store does not list it, and how to reach your first order.

Every Exness app needs an Exness login first, and if you are new to Exness, you can register on the Exness website.

How Do You Download the Exness App?

You download the Exness app from Google Play on Android and from the App Store on iPhone, and the app is called Exness Trade. The download is free, and the store always gives you the latest version.

Open Exness Trade on Google Play (opens in a new tab) or the App Store (opens in a new tab) on your phone, and tap the install button. Before you tap, check that the publisher is Exness Global Limited, because the publisher name is the quickest way to tell the real app from a copy.

Where to get itWhat you need
AndroidGoogle PlayAndroid 10 or newer
iPhoneApp StoreiOS 16.0 or newer
ComputerNo appA web browser or MT5

Your phone has to be recent enough. Exness lists Android 6.0 and iOS 15.0, but the version we installed needs Android 10, and the App Store asks for iOS 16.0. So on an older phone, follow what the store says.

Why Is the Exness App Not in Your App Store?

The Exness app may be missing from your app store because Exness Trade is not listed in every country. We looked up the app in the stores of 43 countries. Google Play had no Exness Trade page in four of the countries, and the App Store listed Exness Trade in 22 of the countries.

Google PlayApp Store
IndiaExness GoNot listed
PhilippinesExness GoExness Trade
PakistanNot listedExness Trade
IndonesiaNot listedNot listed

So if you searched for the app and only found APK sites, your store may simply not carry the app. What you can do next depends on your phone.

If your Android store shows Exness Go, you can install Exness Go, because Exness Go comes from the same publisher as Exness Trade. If your Android store shows neither app, you can use the official APK file or the MT5 app. On an iPhone with no Exness Trade in the App Store, the MT5 app is the way to trade, because Exness says that you can use the MT5 app or the MT4 app if the Exness app page (opens in a new tab) shows no download buttons.

An open store page does not prove that you can install the app, because our phone opened a page and still could not install the app. The Install button on your own phone gives you the real answer.

If you live in India, read what the RBI says about Exness in our review before you install any trading app. The rules in your country apply to you, whichever store has the app.

Is the Exness APK Safe?

The only Exness APK to use is the file that the Exness Help Centre links to, and you need that file only if your app store has neither app.

An APK is an Android app file that you install yourself, outside the store. Exness offers one APK file for countries where the Exness app is missing from the Android stores, and the link is in the Exness Trade installation guide (opens in a new tab). The Help Centre may ask you to sign in to your Personal Area first.

The APK sites in your search results are different. Those sites are not Exness pages, and those sites can offer old versions, because one APK page in the top ten results showed version 3.64.8 while Google Play had reached version 3.81.2.

The risk is larger than an old version. You type your Exness password into the app and you move money with the app, and Exness warns that fake apps can steal passwords, one-time codes and sessions. So stop the download if you see one of these signs:

  • The app came from an ad, a messenger link or a social media post.
  • The app promises “free premium”, “cracked” or “unlocked” features.
  • The publisher is not Exness Global Limited.
  • The app asks for Accessibility, SMS or Device admin access.
  • The app tells you to turn off your antivirus.

You cannot use an APK file on an iPhone at all. If the App Store in your country has no Exness Trade, you can trade on an iPhone with the MT5 app instead.

If you already installed a suspicious app, act in this order. Scan the phone and delete the app, change the password of your email first and your Personal Area password next, and then choose Log out from other devices in your security settings. Exness lists these steps in the Exness guide to fake apps (opens in a new tab).

Is There an Exness App for PC?

No, Exness Trade is only for phones and tablets, so on a computer you open Exness Terminal in a web browser or you download MT5. Exness Terminal needs no download, because you open Exness Terminal from your Personal Area. The Exness web terminal guide shows how to open Exness Terminal and when MT5 WebTerminal suits you better.

What Is Exness Go?

Exness Go is an Exness app on Google Play (opens in a new tab), published by Exness Global Limited, the same publisher as Exness Trade. The Exness website only names Exness Trade, so the publisher on the store page is the check that you have the real app.

The two store pages look more like one app with two names than like two different products. Exness Trade and Exness Go have the same version number and the same update note, and your country decides which app your store shows.

We could only test Exness Trade. Our phone opened the Exness Go page on Google Play and then said that the app is not available in our country, so we cannot tell you how the screens of Exness Go differ.

The store page of Exness Go names the Standard and Pro accounts, so check that your account type appears in the app if you use another account type. If your store offers both apps, Exness Trade is the better choice, because Exness Trade is the app that Exness describes on its website and in its Help Centre.

How Do You Log In to the Exness App?

You log in to Exness Trade with your Personal Area email address and password. The MT5 app asks for something else, which is the number and the trading password of one trading account. The Exness Personal Area guide shows which password you use for each app.

How Do You Place a Trade in Exness Trade?

In Exness Trade, you sign in with your Personal Area email address and password, choose an instrument in the Trade tab, tap Buy or Sell and tap Confirm on the order screen.

The first tap on Buy or Sell only opened the order screen for us, because the One-click switch at the top of the chart was off. Leave the One-click switch off until you know the app, so that every trade passes through the order screen.

Open the app, tap Sign in and type your Personal Area email address and password.

Open the Trade tab and tap an instrument, such as XAU/USD for gold.

Exness Trade Trade tab: the Favorites list of instruments, with XAU/USD Gold vs US Dollar framed in red

Tap Buy or Sell at the bottom of the chart.

Exness Trade XAU/USD chart: the One-click switch at the top turned off, and the red Sell and blue Buy buttons at the bottom, framed in red

Set the volume in lots and open SL / TP for your stop loss. Then tap the blue Confirm button to send the order.

Exness Trade order screen for gold: Volume 0.01 lots, Margin 20.35 USD with SL / TP, and the blue Confirm Buy button framed in red, with Fees about 0.15 USD under it

The order screen shows the margin and the fees before you confirm. On 0.01 lots of gold on a Raw Spread demo trading account, our screen showed a margin of $20.35 and fees of about $0.15.

That fee agrees with our daily figures, which show $15.09 for 1 lot of gold on Raw Spread before the rebate. So you can see what a trade will hold and cost while you can still tap Cancel.

The size opened at 0.01 lots for us. Calculate your own size first with the lot size calculator, and set a stop loss under SL / TP before you confirm.

How Do You Open a Demo Account in Exness Trade?

You open an Exness demo trading account in the app from the account menu, with Open account, and you then choose Demo. Your demo trading accounts sit next to your real trading accounts, under the Demo tab of Switch account.

Tap the balance at the top of the chart and choose Switch account. Then tap Open account.

Choose an account type and tap Continue.

Choose Demo, then the currency, the leverage and the platform. Type a trading password and tap Create account.

The Exness demo account guide shows the balance, the leverage and how long a demo trading account lasts.

Can You Deposit and Withdraw in the Exness App?

Yes, you deposit and withdraw in Exness Trade with the Deposit and Withdraw buttons on the trading account card in the Accounts tab, and the MT5 app has no menu for your money. The Transfer button next to the Deposit and Withdraw buttons moves money between your trading accounts.

Exness Trade Accounts tab: a trading account card with the Trade, Deposit, Withdraw and Transfer buttons framed in red

The Exness minimum deposit guide shows how much your first deposit needs to be, and the Exness withdrawal guide shows when your money arrives.

Should You Use Exness Trade or the MT5 App?

Exness Trade is the better first app, because Exness Trade handles your deposits, your withdrawals and your trades in one place, and the MT5 app is the one to add if you need more timeframes or stop limit orders.

Exness TradeMT5 app
Deposits and withdrawalsYesNo
Chart indicators100+30+
Drawing tools5020+
Chart timeframes921
Stop limit ordersNoYes
Live chat with supportYesNo

The numbers surprise many people who expect MT5 to have more chart tools. Exness lists 100+ indicators in Exness Trade and 30+ indicators in the MT5 app, so unless you need one of the 21 timeframes, Exness Trade already has more chart tools.

Your trading account decides which apps you can use. An MT5 trading account works in both apps, but a trading account on the Exness platform opens only in Exness Trade and Exness Terminal. An MT4 trading account needs the MT4 app, because Exness Trade sends you to the MT4 app.

Does the Exness App Change Your Trading Cost?

The Exness app does not change your trading cost, because your cost depends on your trading account type.

A rebate is the part of Exness’s partner commission that ForexFanClub pays back to you on every lot. After that rebate, 1 lot of gold costs $12.39 on the Raw Spread account and $15.39 on the Standard account, whichever app you use.

That difference of $3.00 a lot stays with you on every trade, so the account type is the choice that saves you money. The Exness account types guide compares every account, and the Exness rebate guide shows the rebate amount on each instrument.

The rebate follows the partner of your Exness Personal Area, so the app you trade in makes no difference to the rebate. The app has its own Register button, so to have ForexFanClub as your partner from the start, register through the button below and then sign in to the app with the same details.

Exness App FAQ

Is the Exness app free?

Yes, Exness Trade and Exness Go are both free to install. You pay the spread and any commission of your trading account when you trade.

How do you update the Exness app?

You update Exness Trade on its store page, which shows an Update button when a newer version is out. The version in the store is the latest one, so you do not need an APK site to update the app.

Why can’t you take a screenshot in the Exness app?

Exness Trade blocks screenshots, so the picture is empty. Our phone could not save the screen after we signed in to our Personal Area either.

If you need to show a problem to support, use the live chat in the app and describe the screen, or take a photo of the phone with a second device.

Where the facts come from:

Sources and how we checked them +-

The app

We read the screens of Exness Trade, version 3.81.2, on Android on 7 November 2026. We opened the order screen on a demo trading account, stopped before the last button, and placed no order. The iPhone version may look slightly different, and we could not install Exness Go.

The stores

We read the public pages of Exness Trade on Google Play (opens in a new tab), Exness Go on Google Play (opens in a new tab) and Exness Trade on the App Store (opens in a new tab) for 43 countries on 7 November 2026. A store can change its list at any time, and an open page does not prove that the app installs.

The Exness pages

The comparison with the MT5 app is from the Exness trading platforms page (opens in a new tab). The APK and the fake app warnings are from the Exness Help Centre.

The cost of gold

The costs are the 24-hour averages in our rebate ranking, updated on 6 November 2026 at 15:06 UTC, the same figures as in our Exness review.

Which Page Do You Need Next?
